    • Trail UpdateThree Points To Pacifico Mtn.-From the Three Points parking area, ride through the gate (closed Nov-Apr, best months to ride!) and go northwest on the paved Sulphur Springs Road through rolling hills covered with oak and pine forest. Pass some religious outdoors camps, then pass the Horse Flats CG spur road. This is a good base camp when the road is open, but is often full on weekends. There is no water here.
From the Horse Flats CG, continue northwest to the top of a ridge on the west end of Chilao Flats. The road bends north and descends to a saddle, where the Pacifico Mtn. Road goes west. Go left on this dirt road, and traverse the southeast side of Pacifico Mtn. There is little shade here, but there are springs and trickles which provide water in winter and spring months.
The road gains a ridge where it intersects with the spur road going north to the summit of Pacifico Mtn. Go right on this road, climbing steeply to the summit of Pacifico Mtn. and the Pacifico CG. See the other "Pacifico Mtn. Road" trail description on the Trails list.
